My something old!!

So, I had e-mailed one of my cousins in Finland that are coming to the wedding that if she could bring something of my grandmother's to the wedding so I could use it as my something old......particularly a Cameo brooch I gave her the last time I saw her alive (she passed in 2003)....it was blue w/ a porcelain figure on it of a mother & daughter.....I wasn't sure who had it after she passed. My Aunt has it and she's going to bring it for me to wear!!!!

I'm so happy!!!!!! I really wanted something that had some sentimental meaning for me, and this definitely does!!! My cousin also offered to bring some rings or earrings of hers, but I already have my earrings, and I only wanted to wear the wedding band/e-ring on my hands. So I guess I'll pin the brooch on the inside of my dress or slip or something. Or maybe even in my bo-k? Now I just have to decide on my something borrowed (something blue will either be my underwear or garter, something new, is pretty much everything else I'm wearing!!).

Glad I can start my Monday on a happy note!!!
