to the Carle Place post office. I mailed them out 5 mintes to 5pm on a Thursday. They helped me handcancel 80 envelopes and on Friday people from Queens, LI, NYC were calling me telling me they received it. On Saturday, my fmil in NC and friends in FL called and told me they received it![]()
I hope i have the same luck with my invites![]()
I wanted something simple and elegant, and INEXPENSIVE..LOLOL
Material used:
2 50 packs 5x7 ivory notecards w/ envelopes
$9.99 at AC Moore but i bought it with 50% of coupons so i spent just 10 dollars![]()
2 packs of staples magnetic sheets
came out to 23 dollars
I printed out the envelopes and return address on back one by one in Word. Took about 1-1.5 hours.
I took a pic, inserted it onto Word, and made it business card size. Put a text bx over it to put in phrase. Repeated pic 10x on the document so each magnet sheet printed 10 magnets.
for the notecard, I used word and just adjusted the paper size to 10x7 and put in 2 text boxes each 5x7.
envelope (this is my parents momento copy hence no stamp)
outside of notecard. Phrase is from the movie 'when Harry Met Sally'![]()
inside of notecard. it had a dear family and friends, and the 3 subtitles in bronze: Accommodations, Airport info, and for your fridge
