Yeah always be careful with that...In my company's handbook, it says how they are allowed to go through anything you do online, they are even able to view e-mail. If you are using the companies computers they are entitled to.

not only that but at my friends job, the IT guy told her to stop using the company e-mail and stuff and about how they can monitor them, he was being nice by letting her know

No, he doesn't have that capability... he's only a sales person. But he said it on the phone to someone.. I nearly died!

Yes, just be very careful. I work in HR and some directors request to have a random check on the sites their staff goes through.

You'd see every email, IM, and websites... even if you delete it.
