My Target Ladies....

For you ladies that registered online or in store at Target. Did you or have you I should say run into any problems? How was the overall experience with customer service? Are you happy with the outcome? Did you also register someehere else?

I registered in the store and didn't have any propblems. No customer service issues because there really wasn't any! The only glitch I had was that when I went home to view online I realized that registering in the store does not automatically put you online. You have to go to the website then enter your instore number in. So far so good. We are also registered at Macys, Fortunoffs and Williams Sonoma

Be careful with Target, because I think it is almost impossible to return anything unless you have a gift receipt. We had a hard time because the scanners weren't working when we went to Target. So we wrote down all the skew #s and then went online when we got home. The problem with that is that not everything was online. As it turned out, we ended up registering elsewhere for most things and just left a few on Target.

Reasons we deleted our Target registry:

1. Unhelpful salespeople
2. Horrific return policy
3. Mechandise gets discontinued on a weekly basis so we had to keep updating our registry.

I registered at Target and didn't have any problems. I didn't get any duplicates, so there was no need to return anything. Everything I got was stuff that we registered for.

The only thing that went on sale was a remote control that DH wanted. Everything else we picked were pretty standard items that they stock on a regular basis.

Target has the WORST return policy ever. Even with a receipt, you can only exchange for the same thing. Also, if people don't tell the cashier it's a registry gift, you end up with repeats. I had this problem with a friend of mine who had registered at Target.

Hey- thanks for the food for thought! We just added Target to one of our registries this weekend, and I had fun- but I can see where returns could be a problem.. hm...
