My Tessa designs!!

Finally got them!! YAY!! I am so excited...Ok girls, tell me what you think...
(We are paying for everything ourselves...so keep that in mind for the wording!!)

They are beautiful!! I think if you are doing everything yourself the wording is usually like the first one. I like the font on the first one a little more but both are gorgeous

i honestly like the second one.... my thing is that whether or not your parents give you money for your wedding, they spent loads on you just raising you (of course this isnt the case 100% of the time)and this is a way to honor them , jmo though

eta: i like the border on the 1st one!!

I really like the style of it! Its really cute. I am so bad with wording though. On one hand I like the second because its more traditional, but since you are paying for it yourself, the first seems appropriate as well.

they are both nice, its up to you with the wording, My parents arent probably going to give us a dime neitehr with FH parents but I am very traditonal so i want to mention our parents.

I prefer the font on the the first one. I would not use the wording on the second time if they are not paying...

imo, if parents arent giving money, either dont mention them at all ORRR mention both sets of parents.

we will probably do something like:
Mr and Mrs' daughter Janis & John, son of Mr and MRs..

either that or they wont be mentioned at all (which i really cant imagine us getting away with, lol)

eta: aside from that, i like the 1st one better. its pretty!!

ITA. Both of our parents are contributing something, but we are paying for the majority ourselves. Rather than leave them off entirely (because like Joanna said we do feel they are responsible for us in some ways) we are doing Mr. and Mrs. My parents and Mr. and Mrs. FH's parents request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their children me and FH.

JMO

I like the first design better, though, because I like the monogram
