Groom is getting here in a few hours, and we are heading out to LI tomorrow, so I wanted to write this while it was quiet.
When I stumbled across this board on a web search a few months ago I had no idea how much it would mean to me.
As I mentioned before, I am an only child, I grew up out of town, my mom is not involved in planning, and most of my friends are single.
So I knew nothing about wedding planning, let alone doing it in the Hamptons on 3 months notice.
It was probably a little nuts of me, but I have learned so very much.
Y'all have talked me though family conflict, dress shopping, invitation selection and so much more.
Yes, I am the one who thought I could send out my invites by email.
More than that,I have truly depended on the kindness of strangers.
I am humbled and touched by the support I have found on our little corner of the world wide web.
Much like an Oscar speech, I will not get to all the names....however....
Mary MOB, wow, your support has been amazing. Debi is beyond lucky.
Date twins, weekend twins, Elisa,Jaminke, and all the others I wish you clear skies and the best weddings ever.
Upper East Brides....it was fun and I hope to see you soon.
