My turn to ask for prayers....

So...

my best friend who i've known since kindergarden has A LOT going on in her life and in her fam's life.

Her mom is in surgery today to get a double masectomy and reconstructive surgery then going for chemo, her BIL is a cop and was stabbed in the eye a few months ago and is home rehabilitating but doing eh, And she has a infant daughter to take care of also.

Any prayers would be appreciated.

That poor girl.

I remember that story about the officer that was stabbed in the eye; it happened on the same day that the plane went down in the Hudson and didn't get much news coverage. I saw an article a few weeks ago saying that he was making some small steps in recovery, which is great. My dad's retired from the NYPD and anytime I hear about stories like this, I keep the officers in my prayers. I'll continue to do so. What can I say, the NYPD holds a special place in my heart.

I'll pray for your friend and her loved ones; sounds like she needs a lot of strength right now.
