My engagement pics came out awful too....partly because I hate the way I look and partly because I needed more guidance- my stance in some pictures is awful!!

Anyway, I agree that a few of the poses he has you in are awkward...FH seems to be really tall while it kind of dwarfs you...but I think you LOOK cut in all of them- its just the way you and FH are standing/sitting.

I think this one is the best (even though your FH has his eyebrows raised a bit):

I like the 4th the best!!! I am going to make sure FH & I dont do posed shots with a fake background... We too also cannot take cues well from a photog... Im sure that was the hardest part and it will always show in pics... I know I have posed cruise pics that came out horrible!!!!!
