My Ultra Screen came back GREAT!

Hi,

I got the results last night of my ultra screen. She said it was excellent results. It puts me at the age of a 20 year old for risk in having a baby with Down Syndrome. I am 30. Anyway, she was very happy with the results.

I go for my Level II sonogram on Feb. 21st. I will be 21 weeks. They originally had me at 19 weeks on Feb. 7th, but I changed it so I don't have to take a vacation day (that I really can't spare) since DH and I already have off on the 21st for President's Day. It stinks waiting another two weeks but I figure maybe they will be able to see more. We want to find out the sex. You can find out at the Level II right?

So that is my great news! :)

Yes, you can find out, if the baby is willing to show, at the Level II the sex!

We are waiting to find out before we go register. I guess if it is meant to be we find out, we will, right??

If the baby is hiding your tech may try to get him/her to move otherwise unless you get another sono your are SOL!!! Sorry to say!

You can register for things besides clothes and bedding. Unisex isnt terrible... not the best. You could also choose what youd want for either sex and make people go out and by the gender specific things for you when you are in the hospital.

I HAVE 2 MORE WEEKS!! NO MORE THAN 2 WEEKS!! Im actually in the process of packing my bag. Im such a procrastinator!

Yeah, I know. We were thinking of picking out bedding for both sexes and just having someone run out and pick it up when the baby is born, if we can't find out.

Not really a big deal. But we are excited and I think I really do want to know.

When i went for my 20 week she was not really cooperating to much BUT it's along sono and she did eventually show us her goodies

So, dont get discouraged...my tech had me laugh a bit and just move around and it did the trick.
