If any one wants info on this its a great trip only costs about 200-250 and thats the room, tree, and dinner!

This is Fh and the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree!
Finally after 2 hours.. THE ONE!

Re: My Vermont Excersion!
absolutely i can give more info!!!
We went to Bennington, Vt its about 4-4 1/2 hours literally 5 min from the NY , VT boarder! drive is really quick! We stayed at the Paradise Motor Inn It looks cheesey on the outisde but just remember where your going its not 5 star.. but its CLEAN and cheap and to be honest thats all that matters you really only need one night and if you get the SPA in your room it was only 115 for the night a regluar room was 50.00
The Tree Farm was called Pleasent Valley Tree Farm. Pleasent Valley Tree Farm website! prices vary by height of the tree anything up to 6 ft was 25.00 and 6-8 ft was 35.00 which i thought was pretty good!... you go to the farm and theirs ACHERS OF TREES!!! they're all OVER you can walk around for hours and find the perfect tree for you then TIMBER cut it down! they give you a saw so you dont have to bring one of your own. They wrap it in a netting so you can tie it too your roof and get it home safe.
We went to dinner at a place called Hunters when i used to go with my family years ago it was called the Public house and i remember the food being AWEOSME!!! and it didnt let us down the food was GREAT!!!!! the prices werent so bad but their are PLEANTY of places in the town if this isnt for you! Heres the link
There was also a chineese resturant on the property of the hotel that had GREAT food we went for lunch and it cost us 22.00 for appitized and 2 full meals! it was GREAT!
Also There is an antique store that can be a bit boring but if your into that stuff its AWSOME! ITS HUGE and its something else to do!
Everything is withing 10 miles from each other so its really great! if you have anymore ?'s please dont hesitate to ask!

the tree is beautiful, Meg! We are doing our little tradition this weekend... we go to the Milleridge to pick out an ornament together (and then write the year w/ a gold sharpie on the back) then have an early dinner and go to Historic Bethpage for a candlelight walk!
