My Water Broke!
At 1:30am in bed, I was shocked, and quietly woke up DH. He called the MW as she instructed and she asked if it was brown or green, which it wasn't and just said get some rest, contractions will start soon! I couldn't believe how much 'water' there was!! It's been 7 hours, and I just got out of bed, but still not one contraction!! What to Expect says contractions can start anywhere from 12-24 hours. I can't believe I'm in the 15% of women whose water will break first, I totally wasn't expecting this, I've just been waiting for contractions and still am. I was able to get some sleep, and I'm still leaking. I have so much to do today to finsish packing and stuff! This is weird, I'm excited but also thinking what the heck? Where is the pain, I better get ready for it??
