Finally got my wedding dresss sucecssfulyl after the mini dramas preceding its arrival (wrong dress, wrong color, stained...) and it is beautiful and I'm so pleased. I don't photograph well when Im standing up because I tend to round my shoulders if people dont remind me not to but you can see the derss here-not wearing this veil though. And underneath ....
RED SATIN HEELS! They are in my album. AND ...
My FH just ordered cherry red polished Doc Martens...Its going to look soooo cool!

Gorgeous gown! And I LOVE the idea of red satin shoes. Va-va-voom! I've seen pictures of brides in red and hot pink shoes and it looked fantastic. I'm thinking of peacock blue, myself...

Thanks everybody-still needs to have alterations done to the bust-sewing in padded cups and all cause not so much at the top lol and have to remove the straps but otherwise its ready to go.
YES Shoes are great. Another bride on ehre did leopard shoes and its just fun. I got inspired by a pic in a magazine where the bride was sitting with her skirt hiked up so you could see her white knee highs and white platform sneakers. It was just very fun and the FH and I are goofballs like that.
It is a Mon Cheri dress by designer Allie Rene from their 2005 fall line so I was able to get it at a FANTASTIC price. I went to a high end salon the other day and found the EXACT SAME DRESS by another designer- SAME dress. But it was like 1,700 dollars and mine was 600.
Only so many ways people can redesign a dress.
So ladies who may not have found their dresses, make sure you LOOK. I got mine at RK bridal in the city-warehouse set up so can be hard to find what ure looking for if u have no idea but once u have ur dress in mind, def take a peek at them.
