my wedding dress-plz HELP! =/

so i already bought my wedding dress which is a mermaid style dress.

I always wanted a huge ball gown but when i tried my dress on, i fell in love with it so we bought it. Now, im having second thoughts! Maybe b/c I havent looked at it in a few months???

My question is, is there anything I could do to add to my dress to make it bigger on the bottom?

ahhh =/ I dont like this feeling!

I think your dress is beautiful...I wouldn't change a thing!! Always go with your first feeling, you put it on and you loved it...I'm sure when you see it again and try it on you'll fall in love with it all over again!!

First off, your dress is gorgeous!!!! The one thing you can do to make it 'poofier' is to wear a crinoline made for a mermaid style dress. This will give it a fuller look. HTH!

I have to tell you that your dress is beautiful. If it makes you feel better, I bought my dress and then first tried it on when it came in and for some reason I HATED it . I was so upset, questioning it ect... Fast forward to the first real fitting, I put it on bc I got nervous and I LOVED IT. I don't know what it was that I was freaking out about. Anyway, the day of my wedding I felt amazing and was so happy I stayed with what I bought first.

I think sometimes when we start to look at different things we begin to question our decision making.

There was a reason you loved it the first time-- don't let anything take you away from that original reasoning.

The gown is going to be beautiful on you!

i just looked up the crinoline and im def. adding that to the dress.

I think i need to go visit my dress tomorrow! lol

I also think that I am slowly driving myself crazy with wedding thoughts!

First of all your dress is absolutly beaustiful!!!!!!!!

I had a veyr similair feelings. I tried on my dress for the first time fell in love and bought it. hadnt seen it in 4-5 months and was going crazy at the end thinking i didnt like it anymore and i also wanted to make it poofier at the bottom. Well then i had my frist fitting and i was all in love again!! and didnt change a thing

Trust your first instict, you loved and bought that dress for a reason and you will have the same feelings when you go for your frist fitting, TRUST ME!!!

a lot o brides second guess their dress

I did the same thing...try it on again, that helped me!

but if you still want it fuller, see how long the gown is, hopefully they ordered it long enough that it will need to be hemmed, if so they can bring up the mermaid portion of the gown to sit higher up on your legs

i fell in love with a mermaid gown but wanted more poof and they suggested doing that to it...when you try on the gown again, pull it up higher on your legs and see if you like it

I think your dress is STUNNING, and I'm sure you look amazing in it. You are probably just questioning b/c you haven't seen it in a while and also it wasn't the style you originally thought you wanted.
I had the same thing, I was first trying all fit and flare/mermaid gowns as that's what I thought for sure I'd end up with, and I ended up with a much fuller skirt! Just remember you loved it for a reason!

Thank you so much for everyone's help! I'm going to go back to the shop and try it on again. Im sure that will help. The mermaid style was definitely the most flattering and I know there's aillion reasons why I loved it!
I will def. Lift the mermaid to see how it looks.
