My Wedding Gown

I finally found pics of my gown! It is Reem Acra's Wrap.

After seeing the pics I am really not very happy though. It does not look like what I remember--- I mean it does, but I am not impressed with the pictures of it at all.

I am very worried about the antique insets on the side... I really really don't like the way it came out in pictures and it is really really bothering me.

What do I do? My dress is not in yet and I am getting married in four months. I just feel like I made a mistake and should have gone with my first choice, something more traditional.... When I tried this one on though, I just felt like a queen...

Ok first of all the dress in the pictures never look the same in the magazine or on other people as they would on you. You obviously liked it when you first got it, so you're just staring at pictures picking out maybe the things that wouldn't necessarily bother you in person.
I didn't eat for a week after I got my dress, I was so sick, I thought I made the wrong decision b/c it wasn't the 'look' I initially wanted - same as you I originally wanted more traditional, lace, etc. - turned out by the time it came in I was in love with it! And in all the pictures and that day, I did feel like a princess and loved every second of wearing it.
Also don't go by your first fitting, the dress isn't usually pressed and not fit to your body. When you pick it up for your final fitting you'll see why you picked it, I'm sure it will be beautiful! All Reem Arca's dresses are gorgeous!!! Can't wait to see a picture!

I did the same thing, ordered a dres then hated the pics, but i didnt want to spend every day until my wedding thinking about it, so i went back to Davids bridal and cancelled my order and ordered another dress, at first they were a little aggravated when i told them i changed my mind, but since the dress was only ordered a week before, they were able to cancel the order and i got another dress. I was sooooooooo relieved afterwards. If your not happy definately get another dress, both my Mother and FMIL told me that if i wasnt happy with my dress i would always think about it. I am so glad i changed it. But you do look gorgeous. Good luck with whatever you choose.

It's normal to be worried about your gown. But IMO, the gown looks gorgeous in the photos. When you are wearing the gown in the sunlight, the photos will be totally different. Reems gowns really shimmer in the light. And you DO look like a queen!
