MY WEDDING IS IN 29 DAYS AND I JUST GOT A BAD CALL FROM MY BM

She was supposed to come over with my other 2 BM's last Saturday and help put together favors and place cards. She never showed. She never called. I called her daily till today. She finally called me today at 3:30. She said Shes sorry she didnt get back to me sooner. Shes having some personal problems. And she doesnt know if she can still... then she said she needs to talk to me in person when shes back out here (shes at her moms).

Now my wedding is less than 4 weeks away and Im affraid that she is backing out of the wedding!!!!! IM STRESSING!!!

Oh! Sorry hon! Don't stress yourself out until you know all the facts! The last thing you need right now is anymore anxiety!

I am sure what ever it may be, it's pretty serious to let you down now.

One step at a time. Maybe it's not as bad as you think.

First off, I hope all is well with her.

2nd, if she has to back out, it will be OK! Yes you will miss her at you wedding but if something bad is going on in her life you need to be supportive.

You can get through your day without her. She might need your support more now than ever.

I understand the disappointment, but hear her out. She may be going throuhg something tough right now and she may need a friend. If she can't be a part of your wedding, your day will still be amazing, try to be understanding.

Hey! There's no reason to stress, really. Everything will be beautiful. you don't know that shes dropping out and even if she does....it's disappointing, but nothing bad will happen.. Everything will run just as smoothly as before!

I am so sorry!! I totally know what you are going through. I had 2 girls(cousins) back out two days before my wedding. They called 10 minutes before we left for the rehearsal. I was so upset, but I got over it. I had two guys go down with the one girl and it looked fine. The thing that bothered me the most was the money we spent. We were out about $1000 because they didn't come (dresses we payed for, flowers, gifts and their meals at the wedding). Needless to say I haven't talked to them since, and probably never will. My cousin gave us the excuse that her baby was sick, but we later found out it was her abusive, loser of a husband that wouldn't let her and her daughters come!! I hope everything works out and she is there for you, but if not, don't let it get you down too much, your day will still be amazing no matter who is there, as long as you, your DH and your daughter are there, you will have a perfect day!!


p.s. My cousins that flaked out, never called to congratulate us, never sent a card or gift. Nothing, nothing to even pay for the money we were out and the dresses she still has from our wedding!!

i hope it turns out ok
1 week before my wedding, my DH's friend had a problem...i wont go into detail...but he could not be in the wedding....i was in full panic mode. What we wound up doing (I had 3 BMs, 3 GMs, 1 best man, 1 MOH) was that one GM just walked 2 BMs down the aisle...one on each arm. Everyone thought it was cute! It was not ideal...but it worked out.
