my wedding is in 4 days and i had 6 people who responded yes now called and cannot make it. my cousin decides he not coming because he not talking to his mother which is my aunt. my fh half brither date drop out on him last minute and my friend grandma died satruday night she is in floridia but there having the body flown upnhere ans the wake is thurs burial is on friday. i totally understand about her ansd her dh and momand dad not coming thats sooo understanding. but my couisn pisses me off and so does my fbil date.

I had the same thing happen I had 8 cousins that were coming then all of a sudden I got cards in the mail saying they couldnt come a week before the wedding and in them was cheap checks. IT turned out my cousins didnt like my mom all of a sudden and decided to not come. I could have cared less becasue they were trouble anyway and I was having second thoughts about them. It was just the mannerism in which they did it. People can be really rude.

AW Jenn, I am so sorry, people suck. Tell your cousin that I am not speaking to my stepmother, but she will surely still be at my wedding! Why can't she take a page from yur cousins book?!?!?

I had that this past weekend. Same thing - 6 people. Which actually brought me under my minimum, but it is so aggravating.

I am soooorrry sweetie! Just remember the people who want to be there for you guys will ~ I had a similar situation... two cousins (that I thought I was very close with....apparently NOT) Luv ya we are going to have a GREAT time!

Call the RH and ask them if you can get a refund for those people (especially if you have met your minimum) The worst thing they can say is no and you're conscientious of that but there is no harm in asking. You will never know unless you ask. Maybe for that they can add in extra sweets in your Viennese Hour or maybe add in a chocolate fountain.
