Three people just cancelled on me... and my MIL says she didn't realize why her family didn't realize it was going to be going so late... and I guess we are expecting a lot of people to leave very early... Hello this is a wedding most parties in general are 5-6 hours.. UGH!!

Why can't they come and leave a little early? Why cancel and not show up at all?

I called them and they said, I wont have to pay extra for my three vendors and I will get to take 1 meal wrapped up for home...
it's something but Im more upset I will have three empty seats and even more upset that people will be walking out before the cake cutting and dessert. we paid extra for pastry trays and cheesecake. we are having a ton of dessert. if people leave an hour or more early... they are going to miss it all....

Agreed! Though that's a pretty lame excuse. Maybe the RH can throw in some extras for you?

I feel your pain! I had 6 cancellations last week...but I worked that all out now. People suck but I doubt you will miss them.

I'm up to four cancellations today alone... some guy just told me he doesnt have a date anymore so he's not bringing someone.... um... really?? 4 people now
