My FH and I are planning on doing an angel theme for our wedding. Any ideas on how I can incorporate that to tie into various aspects of the evening. Thanks...

Well, you can certainly incorporate it into the invitations and the place cards. Um, let me think. Also the table numbers. I recently saw table numbers with angels, I have to find it, though. Hmm...let me think about this one.....

During your ceremony your flowergirls can wear angel wings, you can use those cherub placecard holders as your favor, your first dance can be 'Earth Angel' or something else with angels in it... That's all I can think of right now. I'm not sure what you could do with for angel centerpieces, but I think it would look nice and work well with your theme if you did something with candles; maybe one of the tree centerpieces with the candles hanging from the branches.

I remember my florist telling me that he did an angel themed wedding last year and that they put cherubs either in the centerpiece, or against the stand (I can't remember, but he def. incorporated them). With tall candelabra centerpieces.
ets: you could also use angels in your favor, maybe an angel ornament with your wedding date...

hi deb! i wish i could figure out a theme. anyone have ideas for me? I want red bridesmaids dresses and my wedding is in august. i know i can use hearts and roses... all classic and timeless... but what could i do that is different?

You could do a fruit theme. there are a lot of cool centerpieces ive seen w/ fruits, like apples oranges, grapes, etc. apples and grapes are red so that is how you could incorp red bm dresses

I like the idea of putting the cherubs into the centerpiece. You could also hang them around the reception hall from a plant or from the ceiling if its low enough. Hmmmm....this could be really cute! You could build-a-bear like a bride & groom with angel wings, and have it on your table at the reception.

You could also incorporate that into your favors..One of the girls here was asking about angel wind chimes..if you search, I posted a few links on that.

i went to a wedding that had the angels and red roses theme and it was beautiful. they had these wonderful cherub staties as centerpices and the were sounded my roses petals.

I agree, go with Build a Bear or Vermont Teddy Bears. I am going to have a bride and groom bear myself. And Build A Bear is right in Smithhaven Mall. Idid not see an angel on the build a bear site, but there is def one on Vermontteddybears.comhttp://store.yahoo.com/vtbear/angel.html

For my beach-themed wedding, I am:
-Ordering invites with beach pictures on them -Giving out beach windchimes for favors -Placing a few shells on each table -Taking photos of us holding number signs at the beach for table numbers -Placing something 'beachy' on the table with the sea-shell shaped placecards -Having my reception in a facility on the water (I guess that doesn't help with an angel theme, though...) -Having sand and shells put at the bottom of the vases for the centerpieces -Having a cake with shells on it
