My week got worse..... kinda long!
Okay, so as some of you know, my mom died a week ago from Lung Cancer. Even though we knew it was going to happen, you are never 100% prepared obviously. So for the past week I have been going to wakes, funerals, making various arrangements, helping my dad get things in order, worring about everything etc....
So DH and I decided (after thinking about it for months) to go get a puppy! We fell in LOVE with a little terrier mix! Too cute really! And the perfect dog! Some of you may have heard on the radio that some local shelters helped to save some dogs that were going to be put down in hte Bahamas after the hurricanes! Well we got one of these puppies, 12 weeks old! She was running around playing, and following us everywhere! And in 24 hours in our house never went to the bathroom inside or even attempted to! That included at night, DH and I went to bed at 11 , Cassie layed on her bed and at 6:30 she was still htere and there were no messes in site!!!
Anyway, we take her to the vet to get looked at and she has a severe heart problem! It will probably require major surgery! Unfortunately with all we have been through emotionally and on a financial end we just cant afford this right now! So we took her back to the shelter where they assured us she would get the care she needed!
So now somthing that was supposed to bring happiness just brought more tears!!!
