my weekend update...

went to 2 wedding center type places (at the request of Mom) and came up empty. No dress for me, didn't even try anything on.

side bar - I hate when they say 'This looks great on' or 'You can put straps on it' or most of all 'You can have them take the crinoline out'. Don't you think if you took the crinoline out a of a dress that was MEANT to have it - it would look like I was wearing a deflated wedding gown? The dress wouldn't fall the same. Weird.

I am going to Macys after work by myself on a whim (they had an appointment) - just to check it out.

Do you think I should bother making an appointment with Davids even though I looked at every dress on their site and none of them are my style?
