FH has been sucking all the water up for over 3 hours.... you can actually SEE it coming in through the walls!! All my stuff is getting wet/ruined!! My carpets will surely smell!! This is horrible!!

Ugh. SOrry to hear that! Our basement is flooded too! We have 2 pumps set up to suck the water out and the level STILL hasn't dropped.
i hear it's supposed to stop raining tomorrow. FINALLY.

i am in pequa too. My crawlspace under the house is flooded to the top. Our kitchen flooded! My backyard is a freaking LAKE!!!! like no joke 6 inches of water...and our shed we just built wasnt on a concrete slab so it is now sinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My room is right ontop of the crawlspace flooded part i am praying it doesnt get into my room...as for the kitchen...my mom is livid!

Times like this, I am glad we live on top of a hill.....but the front yard still looks like a freaking lake and the landlord had their dog out for part of the day in this weather!!!

I've been there and have even had extensive mold afterwards. It *****. Just make sure that you get ALL the water out and clean your walls down with bleach afterwards.

Yea i am on the same block!
it was sooooooo bad, fortuately the sun is out now...my backyard is much better no lake...however our crawlspace is still flooded and it is still coming thru the kitchen....but the level is starting to go down. yea it was really bad

The walls were only leaking in the kitchen and living room, but under the computer desk got wet
We spent all last night cleaning, now we just have to try to dry up the carpets... ugh

Omg, I'm so sorry for you girls!!!!
The roof of our building has a small leak over our bedroom, hopefully maintenance can fix it, right now they have a tarp over it. And my aunt and uncle's crawlspace is flooded too, they're in West Islip.
Bad rain, BAD!!
