My wisdom tooth is killing me, and I am getting marreid in 5 days!!!

It has been coming in for a year now, nad of course it has to start hurting this week. I called an oral surgean, and she said that there could be bruising and sweeling on Sunday still.

I ahve a Dr appt with the dentist today, since she said it might just be an infection or something is stuck there, and irrating it. I hope I don't need it removed.

The best part is that I ahve nbo dental insurance but will be put on my FH's plan after the wedding. Figures

Sometimes stress or the time of the month brings on the wisdom tooth pain not sure if either fit your case...I know I get the pain for a few days sometimes even a week and then it goes away on it's own....hopefully it will clear up soon for you!!!!!!!

(I am like you and waited to be on DH's dental plan to get mine done - been married a year now and have yet to go do it...since the pain comes and goes I just ignore it...my dentist wants to kill me for not getting it done.)

Pain from wisdom teeth comes and goes. Mine has been hurting on and off for about a month now -(iw as waiting for my insurance application to be processed before i made the appointment.) -Take advil and rince with listerine to keep the area from being infected (that is if the tooth has already started growing) (Mine is paritally impacted so that is why i needed to rinse with listerine).

I hope the advil works - dont stress about it - and the pain will stop.

I went to the Dentist, and he sadi I ahve an infection, and gave me antibiotics.

He said it will continue to happen until I ge them removed, and really thought I should get them done now, but understands why I want to wait. He said I should be pain free by the weekend.

either way you will be on a natural high on Sunday...and won't notice any pain...

and if you do...I'll give you a shot of Jack daniels to kill the pain...

Just a FYI: If you're on BCP, the antibiotics will diminish the effect of the BCP. Don't know if you're on them, but just wanted to let you know, just in case!

I think it is enough time to heal but you will have a hole unless they plan to give you stitches. My dentist had told me if my gave me pain on 3 different times then that after the 3rd time he would have it extracted. Hopefully it will pass....
