Well, I was right - I had my bridal shower yesterday!! It really was a perfect day...and I feel a little sad today because it is over...
It was a Jameson's in Floral Park. A very cute little place, that had enough room for about 45 women...From what I hear the food was delicious (too nervous to eat) and the mamosas were great (from experience)!!
I was shocked about the generosity of people - I couldn't ask for a kinder bunch of people in my life. How truly lucky I am... We got all of our china!
My bridal party really went all out - not only did they throw the shower, but they chipped in and did a little theme - bought stuff for our kitchen (stainless steel items from my registry), dining room (almost all of our crystal) and bedroom (our duvet, sheets and pillows)...One of my bms made me a beautiful shadow box with our invitation, and another bm hand painted us a gorgeous card box for the wedding day in the shape of a sled, with our names painted on it.
Everyone played bridal bingo, and winners received bath and body works gifts. They also played this funny toilet paper game. Random women was given a sheet of paper in the beginning. If the paper had a 'b' on it, they were to be decorated as brides by the other women. I had to choose the winner, and they received more bath and body works items. It was very cute!!
My favorite gift was a scrap book. Every woman invited was mailed a sheet from a photo album and asked to bring it to the shower with pics and little sayings. It is something I will always treasure!!!
The day really flew...I wish I could remember everything, but I just remember that it was such a great day and I wouldn't have changed a thing!

It sounds wonderful, just wait till the big day!!!! I love the scrapbook idea. Memories is what its all about especially when your too nervous to remember everything, lol. Im glad you had a great time and a bunch of wonderful friends and family. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!

As for the games, my bms and I are professional shower throwers!! I have 9 bms because we are all really close and all getting married within the same 2 years - so we have planned and attended many, many showers!! There are also a ton of websites available that give you ideas....hope this helps!

I am so glad you had such a great time. The scrapbook is priceless!!! What a beautiful thoughtful gift that you will always treasure. They picked a great place - Jamesons is one of our favorite places lately:)
