I haven't been on much lately because my father is STILL in the hospital (12 days and counting). And between working and running around back and forth to the hospital, the little bear cub doesn't know who I am anymore!

She's either asleep when I get home, or almost asleep. It's been really rough and I'm totally depressed and stressed and I'm just at my wits end. The other night when I got home from work, I held her for a few minutes and then I had to run out again and she cried when I gave her back to Joe -- it broke my heart. Then on Friday when I could spend some more time with her, all she did was cry!!!

Then to top it off, after the hospital on Friday night, Joe and I tried to do some shopping at the Lake Success Shopping Center and ALL THE FRIGGIN STORES WERE EITHER CLOSED OR CLOSING BY 9!!!!!!!

By the time we picked up Gianna and got home, it was 11:30 and there were no parking spots on our block and I had to park on the corner of the other block -- a place I never park since my car was broken into in that particular spot.
Sat morning we had to go to a b'day out in Hauppauge and I had asked Joe to move my car, but there were no spots. Ok, we get home at 8 and I told him to go check on my car (since there still were no spots on the block) and he comes running back in and says 'Baby, where did you park?' and I said 'you know where, on the corner' and he said 'IT'S NOT THERE!!!!' -- WHAT!!! You better be joking buddy and he wasn't!!! I go running to the corner and stood in the empty space of what was my car and just stood there and sobbed.

What the heLL else is going to happen?? This has been a HORRIBLE 2 weeks and now I have NO CAR!!!!
Not to mention the car seat base and the stroller are in the car, plus it's my baby!! It was my first baby!!! After an hour and a half of trying to get through, we finally found out that my car was towed!!! Thank God it wasn't stolen and thank God Joe took all the bags out of the trunk!!! My poor car was garage kept from the day I brought it home brand spanking new in a snow storm!!! And since I moved to this godforsaken neighborhood, it's been broken into, hit and now TOWED!!!
Apparently they put up a 'NO STANDING' sign in the past week and I was the lucky one who got towed!! Two other people just got $120 tickets, but not me!!! I'm getting hit with a $185 towing fee, plus storage fee on top of the friggin ticket, so when all is said and done, it's going to cost me $350 to get my car today!!!! Merry Christmas to me, huh?

I've had it. I could care less about this Christmas -- my shopping isn't finished, don't know when my father is coming home, I sent out the cards, but I didn't write anything to anybody (I couldn't write to 140 people, I'm just lucky I got them done period) and all I want to do is go to sleep and wake up from this nightmare month from hell.

Edited to say: The other thing that happened was we went to take Gianna's pix at BRU and what a fiasco that was AGAIN!! I forgot the website info, so I'll post it tomorrow with my story!!
