My work shower Today!
I was sooo surprised. I'm a teacher, so my principal grabbed me at the buses. She said she had to speak to me about some things for next year. (I'm the literacy coordinator so this is not unusual..) We sat in her office and had a serious conversation, i was busy writing things down...
Then her phone rings..she talks a mile a minute and says...'Another crisis walk and talk with me.'
We speed out of her office and I'm still busy writing away on my bus clipboard..and she opens the door to the cafeteria...
I was shocked! Thank God I wore a dress today!!!
My collegaues were so sweet. It was a beach theme for my wedding..all the drinks were in a kiddie pool, buckets for utensils, I sat in a beach chair...They made this huge beach mural with some of the kids that had my Fi and I photo heads on this cartoon bride and groom. all of the tables had beach glass and shells on them along with those drink umbrellas, and blue tablecloths.
I feel so lucky to have such wonderful coworkers. and generous! i got $200 to Macy's (where I'm registered) a Pindar picnic wine backpack, frames, lingerie, and $25 to Kohls.
I was so excited I just had to share...I'll post pics tomorrow!!!
