My little 15 year old sister and my future 16 year old nieces go on that site...it is a way to meet people...but I think its mainly a very young crowd...IMO

I know of a lot of people my age (27) who are on myspace. The younger kids do use it as a dating service of sorts - but you set it so only people in your 'network' can contact you.

My bro is on it and he's 21, I know he met one girl through it. I know of someone else who is 28 and has a long time gf and goes on to chat too. So it really depends on what you're looking for, friends or dates, or whatever.

Well, I'm on it and I did it because the young girls that work for me are on it and they made me sign up this summer. Now that they've all gone back to school it's an easy way for us to leave messages for one another.
It's fun, but definitely a much younger crowd.
