HUH?! I am SO confused. I was peeking today...saw that some sheets have been bought. Then I see this random item has been bought- but I never added it! It's a grill brush! I don't even HAVE a grill! I have never seen this on my registry ever!!!
Maybe someone bought it for me even though it wasn't on my registry- and then when they went and bought other things off the registry, this just scanned as part of it? So bizarre!

I once looked at my registry and there was a BUNCH of weird stuff on there..if someone buys a bunch of stuff, sometimes it pops on there if the cashier is not careful...and, yes, it was BB&B haha...

Hey there- well I work at BB+B and can tell you there are two possible reasons for your mystery item. One is what the other girls have said and that it is a personal item the customer bought and it was added as a registry gift. The other is that they did buy it for you even though it is not on your registry. Cashiers are still supposed to scan them in under the registry code in case the bride and groom want to return it. It is essentially your receipt, so don't delete those random items just in case someone does buy it for you as an extra gift!! If it is on your registry you will be able to return it and get cash back no problem.

what also could've happened, they might've bought the brush for themselves but put it on one purchase. that happened to me

happened to me w/ a jewelry cleaner...
i was like, someone is going to give me a jewelry cleaner? what are they trying to say- that my jewels are dirty? ugh! lol but they actually bought it for themselves haha while buying my gift.

What happens is that if they say they are buying sheets off the registry but when the girl rings up their purchases at the counter (sheets for you, a grill brush and tic tacs for themselves) it all gets added to your registry. Sorry to be a downer but you will more than likely not get the add ons. They are personal purchases.

The same thing happened to me. I agree with what everyone said. At BBB
On BB&B if someone buys something off your registry they give them the name or the paper so anything else you buy also gets scanned on there. The reason they do that is bc anything that you return that is on your registry they give you cash back but if it's not then you get store credit. So it works out to your advantage that they do that.

this happened to me too!!! on the BB&B registry, at first I thought that by some miracle FH all of a sudden took interest in our registry and mysteriously added chopsticks and a Rachel Ray cookbook......but alas, no such luck.....either someone bought it for themselves, or they just added it since it was scanned together with a gift for me. very odd!!!
This just happened to me to this weekend! I registered for a specific coffee pot but when I went to peek (yes I am a serial peeker!) another coffee pot had been bought and added to my registry. And it had 0 under requested and the number 1 under bought. Someone must have bought me another coffee pot and had it added. So weird!

We ended up with A LOT of random stuff on our registery that we never put on there. It turns out that when some of our guests purchased registry stuff, thier personal purchases were also put on our registry.........

It's happened to us twice at BB&B....my mom bought something for us off our registry and happened to buy a gift for my sister the same day...a coffee urn that was the same one we picked, so it came off our registry. The hysterical one was when my sister bought us some things off our registry for chirstmas and we saw all these new things on the registry including Lady Bic razors...we figured out ehat happened and gave her the same razors as a joke for christmas! We're still laughing about it!
If you see something on your registry you don't think you requested, check the requested vs purchased columns..if it's a mistake, it will say 1 purchased, 0 requested. You can then delete it from your registry.
