Mystery Item on BBB registry

Mystery Item on BBB registry

I just had a mystery item show up on my BBB registry that I did not register for. Under requested, the # was 0 and under purchased the # was 1.

Does this mean that someone purchased something off my registry at BBB or is it a weird glitch? Anyone have this happen to them?

if people buy something off your registry then make other purchases it will show up like that on your registry

I don't think that could be it because there have been no additional purchases! Any other ideas?

maybe they saw something else and purchased it in the same transaction?

It happend to a friend of mine. When she got something from her registry and something not from her registry. The item she did not have on her list appeared..as by miracle!

Yes if they purchase something for you BBB will put it on your registry this way you can return it if need be. I had two items added to my registry that was not requested.

Yup, for example someone bought something off your registery, and then something for themselves...both things will show up on your registry even though they aren't giving you that other thing...it's kind of a wierd glitch.

Or if they bought something that isn't on your registry that shows up so you can easily return it...

if people dont seperate their items from yours and tell the cashier whats on the registry and whats not the computer automatically adds them on the registry...its weird. when i first started working there i used to put tic tacs on people registry all the time lol

talking from experience ( i work there) alot of people dont give a crap about a registry and they buy what they want.....but tell them its on the registry so they can get the free gift wrap...the only other thing is they could have printed out the wrong registry and not looked at the name.....

Whatever people buy for you when they present your registry - it will show up on it. It's actually a nice little thing because if you want to return it and it's on your registry, you can get your cash back. It happens to many people- I know that I had a few people buy me similar items, but not the one I registered for probably by accident and it showed up.

this means that someone bought something that you did not register for, but that they handed the cashier your registry or registry # for the receipt

Yeah, it doesn't mean you're getting it though. They might have been getting something for themselves while shopping for you.
