Mystery Wedding gift

So I got a gift card in the mail from macys today and it says congratulations, love Jack.... I do not know a jack and niether does DH.... does anyone know if macys would give me furthur info??? It is a 200.00 gift card, it would be nice to thank that person

They probably won't be able to tell you, but that is really strange...maybe it was someone's date? My sister got a few cards with separate gifts from people's dates..but $200 is a lot. Ask around?

ETA: Have you posted a review yet? How was NRC?

Could it possibly be a friend of the family who you addressed as 'John' since Jack is sometimes and nickname for John?

we got a gift from fortunoff from off of our registry but it was not packed with any info, so I called them to find out who sent it and they were able to tell me so I could send out a thank you note. So I would call to try to find out.

funny story..i got a mystery gift. not only till a month after the wedding looking a pictures did we figure out who gave it us (it was a cookset)

someone got a picture of the guest walking in with the present and we figured it out
