1. what is the difference between perm. french and 'pink and whites'
2. Is it really damaging?
3. Do you need to worry about water getting in them and getting a fungus or something? I wash my hands so much
Thanks in advance ladies! Any help would be appreciated!

Re: nail help
Perm. french is clear on the nail bed and then either a white tip or they paint some white polish on the tip. Pink and white it almost the same except they dip the nail bed in some pink powder and then the tip in some white powder.
Its damaging only because they have to use that annoying machine to make sure your nail bed it even and if you take them off it peels some of your nail. If it isn't done right then yes you can get fungus if they leave an gap between the fake nail and your real nail. So far I have been lucky to not get one (knocking on wood)

Thanks! I'm trying to decide if I should get it for my wedding My manicurist says that something like that would last through my honeymoon! I am just really afraid of getting some kind of fungus My manicurist assured me that wouldn't happen but it's their job to tell u that won't happen!

I have yet to get a fungus but I look at them as they are doing my nails. If I see a gap or some part of my nail not covered with the product I tell them because I don't want fungus. It happened to my mom a long time ago. Mines usually last about 3 weeks before I have to get a fill-in but my nails grow slow. FH thinks it because I dont drink milk
