nail trial?? (gel manicure)

nail trial?? (gel manicure)

I've never gotten a gel manicure before...but I'm thinking of doing it for the wedding because I'm not a fan of tips and I dont want them on for the HM.

Since I've never had the gel manicure before I was thinking of trying it out this weekend for my bach. party. But I've been researching and it seems gel manicures can ruin your nails.

Do you think if I get them done now, they'll be okay and ready for another one in a month?

If you get them done now they will be fine for your wedding. They will actually be really long too (if you want) as when the gel is on your nails will be so strong.
It will ruin your nails if you keep getting it done. But it will last you 3 weeks then get it done just before the wedding and you will be fine.

Lisalana just had hers done a few weeks ago, def ask her. I think you are fine if you do it now, and then again for the wedding.

Thanks for reminding me about this - I want to do this too, so they are good for the wedding and the hm. Can I do them right beforehand you think? Like next Weds? Eek.

i went for my trail on friday. i got the OPI color gel french manicure. my nails feel so strong and after 5 days they did not chip yet. i work in the medical field and use plenty of hand sanitizer and with a regular manicure the sanitzer destroyed my nails btu so far so good

used to do the gel manicure and love love loved it! especially that they were completely dry as soon as they were finished (i always find a way to chip a nail from a reg manicure thinking they're dry) the only reason i stopped was because i was doing it every two weeks and i did notice my nails starting to get ruined... but its definitely something i would recommend for a one time thing!!! HTH!
