Does anyone have pictures of artificial nails-both gel and silk wrap...I don't really like acrylic cause it looks too fake....I want short thin nails....Thanks!

Re: Nails
I feel silly doing this, but here are my nails: This one is real: This one is a silk wrap:
A hand model I am not, but I do think that the wrap looks pretty good. I only have one because that nail was much more fragile than the others. It kept ripping.

Re: Nails
Thanks I get my nails done at Chic Nails in Forest Hills. It is right on Queens Blvd at 75th avenue. To have a full set is $50 - the inital wrap for one nail was $5. To get them fixed was $2.

Re: Nails
It looks great! Could someone tell me exactly what a silk wrap is? How easy is it to take off after the wedding? How much does it damage your nails? I have fragile nails that have vertical ridges, so I was hoping to get silk wraps for the wedding but then take them off after the honeymoon.

Re: Nails
is the silk wrap the same length as you real nails or can you add a little length to your nail with the wrap?

Re: Nails
I would say wrap your own nails vs getting fake ones... I have done that in the past. THe Frech really chips on your own nails
