NAILS?

NAILS?

Hello all:
I have two questions:
1. Does anyone have fiberglass wraps? If so, do they like them?
2. Where is there a good place on Long Island to get them done and how much will they cost?

Thanks,
Jen

Fiberglass wraps are very expensive. I think I saw in my nail salon that they were 80.00 to put on.

That;s why I have silk wraps. What are the advantages of fiberglass?

I had the UV gel nails for the wedding they were permanent french and looked great. I would recommend getting these.

These look great and work with just about anyone - plus you do not have to wait for your nails to dry, you just walk out of the salon with grogeous french manicured nails

fiberglass is expensive and it is strong, but not that much dfferent than silk

fiberglass is the STONGEST type of artifical nail coating you can get.. cars are made of fiberglass, it may be expensive but imo well worth it, I have fiberglass wraps on my own nails, not tips, & i bowl, never do they break & im very hands on with my own routines,,

I've heard the gel nails are great. I think that's what I'm going to do for my wedding.

just dont keep them on too long, you will ruin your real nails, thats with most fake nails though not just fiberglass.

I have naturally strong nail so I dont need fiberglass but i do consider them sometimes because when I get a manicure it doesnt last as long as my friends nails and she gets the fiberglass.

I did the gel and it worked well and lasted a bit longer.

Yeah my nails are the same and grow very quick...So i let my own nails grow...sometimes if one cracks a bit and needs fixing i will just put silk wrap over it

I HEARD A FEW HORROR STORIES OF MAJOR BREAKOUTS .. ALLERGIC TO THE MATERIALS IN FIBERGLASS... BUT NONE PERSONALLY RELATED

i have fiberglass wraps, the benefit is they really dont damage your nails as badly as silk wraps and acrylic..i just got the permanent french and i like them, its gonna look really think when u first get it so i recommend you getting it a month before the wedding to let it grow out a lil, i go to Canele Nails its in Commack off Jericho Tpk, FM if you have any questions..the fiberglass nails or 'gel' tips they cost about $60-70 for a new set n i believe 25 to fill in, good luck and they look very natural!! your hands and RING will look beautiful!
