I usually get the white painted on, I don’t like color either. I dont think it’s the salon, it may be the quality of the nail that they put on.

do you get silk wraps then and they paint the french on?

my place puts a special non-yellowing polish as the last coat...maybe check that out. Do you live in the Commack area? If so, I can give you my place to check out?

I always had permanent french and that never happened to me. maybe it was the color of the polish over the french?

Amands where is Best Nails? It isnt the one in the shopping center next to Mangias and the North Babylon Deli is it??

no polish over just buffed to make them shinny. I did go to the beach and put tanning lotion on me but that still should not happen as bad as it did.

yeah and sometimes the salons SAY they have the UV protection in the nail polish but usually they just use the bottle and then put regular polish in it LOL so now i bring my own!

you can get silk and just ask them to do french on them with nail polish

thats true you can do that.. but its not as nice as perminent because when you have them polish on the white it chips and wears a little and doesnt look as nice.

what about the gel? they do that gel at someplaces by my where you put it under the UV to dry it. i had it done for my eparty and it was great.

yeah i am going to have to ask. i dont see that my place has the gel and the UV dryer so i may have to find another place. But North Babylon is a little far to go. hmm where else...

yeah but you just get it done over when it starts to chip...im constantly changing my polish

No prob. it basically is to look like french tips w/out the actual polish. looks like this some what

HMMM UV dryer i never herd of doing that for the permanent french really?

Yeah.... I have pink and white french....no polish. After they finish, they brush on this thick gel, and then I sit under a dryer for 3 minutes, and then they spray and wipe with alcohol. It's great. No waiting for my nails to dry, and, it makes them stay shiny and not yellow.... ever.

how much is that???
