We decided on a HM spot and now we want to book ASAP. How does that work if you book all your hotel and flight info in your maiden name, and then change your name after the wedding. Im taking my HM 3 months after my wedding.

you don't have to change the name on your passport right away...so, as long as your passport has your maiden name, you can book the flights with your maiden name.
if you plan to change every piece of ID to your married name, then you should book the tickets with your married name

to be on the safe side I would contact the airline, everyone has different rules about this sort of stuff, some airlines will accept your marriage license as proof that its you

If you have your maiden name on your ticket, passport, and keep your old ID will that be ok?

you are better off doing everything in your maiden name. all of your name changes may not be completed in 3 months

Book your HM trip in your maiden name and use your passport with your maiden name.
Much easier than having to stress about getting your new passport in time. I just mailed my passport application to change my name. Estimated arrival of the new passport is now at 5 weeks.

I went on my HM under my maiden name only because we left the next morning- it is totally fine to travel under your maiden name (as long as your passport says your maiden name!) and to have booked under your maiden name as well for flights and hotel.
