How do you go about changing your name? Also we will need our passports for our honeymoon so should I wait to do it legally until we come back? If I wait to do it legally can it still say my new last name on the license and when I sign it at the church? Ahhh I have so many questions please help me ladies! Thanks!

I think you have to go to the Social Security office to change your name legally. I am going to change my passport AFTER our honeymoon because I dont want to deal with any name drama and being stopped at the airport or something.
Im confused about your last question:

Hmmm I dont think you can change your name on your license without doing it legally first.![]()

When you get your marriage license it asks what name you will use after marriage.. if you plan on changing your name, you will put FH's last name.. however,,, a name change is not official or legal until you initiate the process of changing everything, first stop SS office.. then you have to changet everything yourself.. this is a process.. you won't be able to get anything changed before your honey moon because once the signed marriage license is sent out it takes a few weeks to get the actual marriage certificate back..until you get that, you can't make any changes on any legal documents... all my cruise documents will have my maiden name...
I've been married before, that's how i know all this! LOL!!
