How did you go about changing your last name? I've heard that it is a very time consuming process. Also, has anyone had an experience with David's Bridal's name changing service for about $30? TIA!

Go to SS office and DMV with your marriage license and just fill out the paperwork. I was in and out of each office in 15 minutes.
Then I went to the bank, then did all of my CC's on the phone or online.
I still have to do my passport.

i wouldn't pay for a service IMO, all i did was go to SS and the DMV and then once i got my SS card (a week and a half about)i changed my info at work and benefits info, and bank info. I have to say i was not in and out in 15 min... i had to wait at SS for an hour before getting called and it took me 5 min to change my name!
