i submitted the paperwork in the afternoon and by the next morning, everything was changed already.

i haven't done it personally yet (obviously) but some girls here had it done the same week

I'm changing it before the end of this school year, so its changed by next year

Once you get around to do it, it should only take a day or two...depends on the technology / people power you have there and process for contacting benefits.
