I am starting the name change process this week. I have read that I need to bring my title and registration. Problem is my car is a lease and I am not the title holder the bank is. After being put on hold numerous times with the DMV last week I am hoping someone on here has the answers. TIA

You don't have to change your title right away. I just did my license and registration.

Thanks! I finally got a hold of someone and they confused me even more LOL. I will just go in person and deal with it if I have to go back.
