Re: Name Change Question
I'm gonna shell out the $30 for missnowmrs.com... if I EVER get my freaking marriage license in the mail!!!
Grr. Does it come certified? I got something certified that I missed... I have no idea what it was.

Re: Name Change Question
On the other thread about it, people said it was because we got ours in Brooklyn and the city is on a 6-8 week back-up.
I'm considering going to borough hall on Tuesday and ordering one just so I can have it in hand. This has been a pain.
I really thought it was going to NC, not NY. DH is on his way home from our in-law's place (I'm back in NY for my mom's surgery tomorrow) so maybe it'll be there. I hope.
I wonder if I can get a copy from any town hall or if I have to go to Brooklyn borough hall to get a copy. I'll pay the $35 or whatever if it means having an extra copy in hand asap.
