Soooooo.....I was totally against changing my name, but I am thinking about hyphenating. I'd still go by my maiden name professionally and I would really use my maiden name, but I think if I hypehnate on paper it would make FH happy and I think it would make life a little easier since I'd have the same (ish) last name as my kids.
If I elect to change my name on my marriage license, do i HAVE to then change it on my SS card, passport, and driver's license?
What is the process?

if you change it on one you have to change EVERYTHING! so really think about it before you make the switch!

YES - do not change it on the license if you are not planning to change it everywhere. Its a legal document and once you change it there it is binding.

Well passport is easy its a piece of paper you filol out with your marriage lisence and if you do it within the first year it's free
