Narrowed down to two photographers...Would love some opinions..Pakten or Silverfox

My budget was ridiculous so I had no choice to raise it. These two seem to have what I am looking for (Pakten is more expensive but you get a bit more in the package) .I know I would be happy with both but if anyone has any experience with either would love to know.
This was by far out of everything the hardest decision(worse then the venue,that was easy lol)

Did you try Jay Lim? His prices are pretty reasonable? I thought silverfox was more expensive then him?

ETA-sorry if that didnt help you decision between the two LOL!!

lol it did not make it easier haha!! but that's ok...I spoke with jay Lim and I actually asked having him but they want $500 more for him...Has anyone used anyone else there?
Pakten is same price as jaylim but gives more....Jaylim edits and is about $100 more then silverfox but silverfox does 'light' editing only some color correction and exposure issues...
I may go see all three just to confuse myself more haha

HAHA Sorry!!! I am not using Jay because Kristin is using him on MY date LOL! I am using Kevin and I think a lot of girls on here are using him also. OH ok, I never got prices from patken, just silverfox. I just had a really good feeling when I went into Jay's studio. Also my friend just booked Kevin for Sept!

I think I may go all three. I spoke with pakten so as of now I love them but I want to make sure and see other peoples work. All three were super nice when I spoke with them

I went with Patken and I love Jared's work so I requested him. My sister had warned me not to use Silverfox because she did 5 years ago and still doesn't have a wedding album and never will because they didn't take any good pictures. She has maybe 3 of her and her husband. She felt like she had to tell them everything and couldn't spend her whole night directing the photographer so she didn't get any pictures.

I used Patken and LOVED them!!! I had Vinnie as my photographer and he was amazing. My album is beautiful, my prints are gorgeous. I can't rave enough about Patken! I'm going to get my video this weekend and I'm so excited to see it!! Go with Patken!!!!

That stinks . Maybe I will make it easier for myself and just see the other two. My friend used pakten and her pics are insane. That wS my first pick so I think I may just go see them . I hope I am not the only bride that does this to herself lol

I'm using patken & I've been so happy with them. My sister & friend also used patken & their wedding albums came out amazing!

My friend just used Silverfox for her wedding and her photos are GORGEOUS. They were putting them up as they uploaded them on the plasmas during the reception and the photos were flawless. She got married in Jan. and her proofs and video were done like... March. She's just currently trying to weed through everything for her album. They were STUNNING.

If I wasn't so obsessed with Ken Hild (even prior to being engaged) I would have booked them!

Silverfox!! Go meet with them! It was easily the most relaxed decision we've made. After talking to them I was so at ease and blown away by their professionalism, personalities, and insane photography! I have my engagement photos in my album if you wanna take a look. Can't recommend them enough

This! Her photos are stunning and such a quick turn around. Of those two I would def pick Silverfox- 100%!

I'm using Silverfox and LOVE them, they did my engagement pics and my b-pics and i could not possibly be happier. I follow them on facebook and the pictures they post from the weddings they do every weekend just gets me more and more excited them them to shoot mine =)

My sister used Patkin in December and they were awesome. The pictures came out stunning and the turnaround was so fast!

I'm sure I'll get some flack for this next statement, but please everyone remember everyone has their own opinion.

I feel like you can spot a Patken photo a mile away. I feel like they're all the same and they don't personalize and individualize with each couple. I'm constantly seeing the same poses and styles. I know A LOT of girls who have used Patken and while they were satisfied... its the same pictures. Just insert a different couple.

Just my $0.02 having seen BOTH of the choices with a number of couples.
