nassau county help

Hi ladies! I'm Andrea. I used to post on the 08 boards. My DH and I are house hunting and have some questions.

Anyone have any information on Williston Park and Mineola. The houses we are looking at fall under Mineola school district and I'm hearing mixed things about it. We're just looking for a middle of the road, safe, decent, middle class district.

Any preference between the 2? I seemed to like Williston Park a little better.

Also, do you think these 2 towns would be good. I'm going to be commuting to exit 62 and my husband works in Westchester. i'm more worried about him b/c I won't hit traffic especially with the times I drive. If anyone has any other town possiblities that would be great.
