I recently went to look at the museum for my wedding reception and ceremony. I really like it and they let you have the whole grounds for the day. They also let your guest look at the exhibits around the museum. Has anyone ever been to a wedding there or any kind of event. Really Need help on this one.

I had a work event there last year. It was really nice, and I received a lot of compliments on the choice of venue. We were in the tent and the room attached to the tent. We used 3 heaters (it was an April nite) and that was sufficient to keep everyone warm.
I love that museum, FH & I were just there last weekend for the Teddy Roosevelt exhibit.

My fathers cousin had his second wedding there about 12 years ago. It was beautiful. I was even thinking about looking there. I think a wedding there would be lovely

I used to work for a catering company and went to many weddings there. The cocktail hr was gorgeous in the rooms with all the artwork, but the receptions are held under a tent, which I never really cared for. It seemed to take away from the beauty of the indoor cocktail hour, IMO.
Plus, not sure about their site fee, but you'd have to hire an external caterer to come in....

I looked into it for my wedding, but it was too small to accomodate all my guests and I wasn't such a fan of the tent set-up (like Teri mentioned).
