Nassau County Museum of Art??? Still looking for RH

Has anyone visited NC Museum of Art and if so any possible quotes?? I was thinking about visiting them...

This wedding planning is driving me mad..I was thinking of just getting a wedding coordinator!!!::

i went to look there... the reception can ONLY take place in the permanent tent they have that is connected to the museum, it would be BEAUTIFUL IF you know youre gonna have nice weather... you pretty much have the museum to yourself that day, your guests are allowed to walk around it!
BUT the site fee if i remember correctly was something crazy like $7,000, if i'm wrong, the least it could have been was $5,000, plus you have to hope that it doesnt rain, the day i went to see it it had rained the day before and there small puddles inside the tent at the reception area.

anyway, i would call to get the other prices ....

Hey I went there last year..
I was going to do it but to much $$$$$
its about I think $6500 to rent the place.. then you have to rent the tent, and the chairs, the food, etc etc. from another vendor that can cost close to $30k.. there are lots of other fees included.. I estimated the costs to be around $35k way over my budget.. I say if you have the $$$$ go for it.> I know it would have been my 1st choice..
