What would be a good place for a baby shower?

Milleridge Inn does quite a few and have rooms to accomodate any size! I had my bridal shower there and they had several other baby showers going on that day!

Thanks, that's a good idea. I've been to a rehearsal diner there in the restaurant but never a shower.

I was also going to reccommend the Milleridge Inn. I'm pretty sure my shower is going to be there too.

The George Washington Manor in Roslyn is owned by the same people and is very similar.

I had my SIL's bridal shower at the George Washington Manor and it was great. Everyone raved about it and the prices are not awful. What kind place are you looking for?

I am looking for a place to hold between 30 - 50 women for a baby shower for one of my bridesmaids. Some place that has tasty food & nice decor.

What about the Jolly Fisherman - I have never been there but my family told me that about 25 went there after my uncles funeral and the food was really quite good. It was supposedly reasonable too.
I would also check out West End Cafe I hear that they have a number of parties. They are also really good.

We had our rehearsal dinner at CP Michaels in FLoral Park. They had a small private room and were very reasonably priced offering a sit down or a buffet.

My bridal shower was just at Giardino's in Little Neck, everyone raved about the food and the place was really nice & had excellent service.

what about the new hyde park inn? my sister in law had her bridal shower there and it was quite nice.

I went to a bridal shower in Mineola at the Davenport Press - they have a private room upstairs.

I was going to suggest the Davenport Press as well. Giardino's has really good food too.

My friends recently hosted a christening party at Paparazzi in Westbury (Glen Cove Rd and Jericho Tpke).

The food was excellent, service was very good. Sorry, I don't know how much they paid!

I would try La parma there are a few of them around and the food is really good.

I went to one at the ground round in a party room
it was fun
I also know that OKEY dokeys does them but they are in suffolk

We can do showers at Strike in New Hyde Park as well. We have a private room that can accomodate about 80 people. FM me if you want the number for the event coordinator.
