Need to plan nice bridesmaid dinner ( not bachelorette party) Somewhere to have a nice dinner and then go out. Last two places I was told about closed! Nassau, preferably Long Beach or surrounding area? I am not familiar with that location at all so hoping for some help! Thanks ladies

Re: nassau rest. recommendations?
Nick DiAngelo's Duke Falcon's Coastal Grill (haven't been there but hear good things).
What cuisine are you looking for? Is it important to be near the West End for dinner or do you mind driving 5 minutes to the bars?

Rockville Center has a lot of nice places - Grill Fire is a favorite of mine - Churchills too - you can then go ahead and walk around the area and go to the bars.

We have friends in Long Beach, the place is alot of fun. Check out Cafe Laguna. We were there over the holidays the food is DE-LISH. Plus if you want to go out for a drink after dinner you can walk to about 10 bars.

Nick DeAngelos in long Beach is closed. they will re-open in feb as a Grillfire. If you like family style, there is Matteos in the West End of Long Beach or i believe they also own Mio Posto in Oceanside on Long Beach road. I have not been there yet, but i hear the food is great.

Havent been there, but when newsday did a write up on the restaurant it got zero stars.
I am surprised to hear Lola's is closed. I just got an email from them saturday with a coupon for Sunday brunch.

I just went to Lola's on Friday, I'm also surprised to hear its closed. Monterey's is a new restaurant that isgood, but a little pricey. Coastal Grill is good too, but I'm not sure if they can accommodate a large group. From what I remember, it was mostly booths, but definitely worth checking out.

Cabo's in RVC is awesome! Or Frank's Steak House in RVC, also really good. There is an Italian rest. in LB, that is directly across the street from Minnesota's but for the life of me, i can't remember the name, but it is really good. However, it is small, but food is great!
