blech Michi talk about TMI!
strong coffee first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach) usually works for me
I unfortunately have this problem a LOT .. (must be an old lady thing and I more often than not have to resort to ex-lax type of stuff to get the job done...

prunes, they don't taste that great, but i think they may be less abrasive then ex-lax.

cocoa story to go with this one! when i was a wee one, apparently my mom's little girl was a little backed up. so mom thought she would make little cocoa some 'chocolate ice pops' to help her go...well, little cocoa, even at a young age, knew her chocolate and said to mom rather chalantly, 'mom. this doesn't taste like chocolate.' and mom said 'no. it's chocolate.' and little cocoa was persistant and said 'no. it isn't chocolate, mom.' and finally mom relented and admitted to little cocoa that it was prune juice. e-e-vil wo-man

Eat fiber! Maybe Taco Bell! For me I am lactose intolerant so I would eat pizza or ice cream
