I watched the news lastnight and it literally brought me to tears...so sad. Liam Neeson is one of my favorite people....and they were so in love

For some reason it's really bothering me what happened to her. It was such a minor accident and it killed her, it's scary when you think about being here one day and gone the next. Lastnight when I found out I actually gasped out loud.
My prayers go out to her entire family. I can't even imagine how devastated they must be.

Ms. Richardson, a daughter of Academy Award-winning actress and human rights activist Vanessa Redgrave and the wife of actor Liam Neeson, fell on a beginners' slope near Montreal during a ski lesson March 16. Ms. Richardson initially appeared uninjured, but an hour later, she complained of a headache. As her condition worsened, she was flown to a hospital near her home in New York City, where her family gathered.
It was only a beginner slope!!!!!!!!!!! It goes to show you if you have any head injury it can lead to this.....really scary.
But that's the whole point, it wasn't a minor accident. It wasn't that she fell, it was how she fell. She probably had a slow bleed in the brain or burst a slow bleeding vessel that didn't show the standard sign until she returned to her room. The brain has very limited space to swell in the skull and limited defense mechanisms compared to the rest of the body. So devastating.

I know me too, I kept saying last night that I felt soooo bad. It's scary that she brushed herself off, felt fine and then an hour later......

I feel so bad for her family...this is such a tragedy for them! I was just watching her in parent trap! My heart goes out to her family.

This is so sad and so scary, especially because my sister fell and hit her head, twice, recently. And the worst part is they said if she went to the hospital right away, they probably would have been able to help her.
