Heather - There are different levels of National Guard service. Some that have served in the military continue in the national guard. Like my husband's partner at work. He was NG and he would go for training a weekend here and there and when the war came, he was shipped out and was away for nearly a year.

Others, without military service sign up, go into the service and then serve a couple of weekends a year. A lot of people with political asperations, go the 2nd route. I don't think they were shipped out at wartime but maybe they are.

its not me - Nick was looking into it. He met with them today and took a test. He didn't sign anything. He's asking my opinion on it. I have no clue at all
